I love how these

I love how these bloodsuckers, who have operated for years destroying the rest of us with their greed, come-out telling us the truth of what they did to us and tell us how bad they feel about it but ... BUT ... do they give back the blood-money or make anything better? No. They write books, go on lecture tours and appear on "talk shows".

...and make MORE money..

I Love this woman but she is

I Love this woman but she is too fast speaking and it is rather complicated matters. I am a retired civil servant and I was trying to look in to how this kind of corruption was handled in my country Sweden. Can you please arrange a talk with someone who can make a traduction. I think that this system can be found i other countries too.

Thank you Catherine and Bonnie

Great show and discussion.

Great show and discussion. C.A. Fitts is insightful. Is it possible to get a bibliography of the articles and books she referenced? Thank you, KPFA

Her long-time web site is

Her long-time web site is solari.com. A most outstanding reference.

As those activists who have been following this over the decades realize, Catherine Austin Fitts, and economist Michael Hudson, are the two primo individuals in North America who fully comprehend what is taking place (Ms. Fitts more on the global finance AND economics side, while Prof. Hudson is more on the macroeconomics side).

A thousand thanks to the glorious Ms. Faulkner for this part one presentation with Ms. Fitts: she truly covers everything, and by that I mean EVERYTHING --- both the seemingly unrelated connections (e.g., jobs offshoring and student debt), plus the current topic of BofA moving those derivatives inshore, plus she sublty covered something --- which she didn't elaborate, so I shall, that Ms. Fitts was the first individual on the finance side to actually promote going local) and the extensive fraud and fraud promotion today.

Geez, it was soooooo mentally enriching hearing this interview between Ms. Faulkner and Ms. Fitts!

Bonnie rules --- always has, always will --- one of ONLY several truly progressive and uncensored shows extant in America today.

(FYI: Taped notice at end of show still states www.gunsandbutter.NET, instead of gunsandbutter.ORG.)

Joan, What most people

Joan,

What most people forget, is that, as Katherine Austin Fitts commented and as Ellen Brown clearly describes, the government is controlled by the private finance industry. Please get Ellen's 4th edition of Web of Debt. There's been an on-going battle for controlling the credit-lending machine in this country following the American Revolution. Our government doesn't really work for us, but for the big corporate and organization lobbyists who pay them politicians well during campaign season to do their bidding. No chance of the American people resting ownership of the government away from the plutocracy, until we learn to finance elections ourselves through our tax dollars and ban any corporate and other lobby money being contributed to campaigns. Campaigning should be widdled down to no more than 6 months. TV time should be free to all candidates because, in essence, FCC was established with the stipulation that the air waves belong to the public media corps lease the air waves from the citizens. When presidential elections come around, it's media corporations duty and obligation to charge nothing for doing it's fair share of contributing to the public service and not running up enormous charges for campaign debates, etc.

Catherine is a brilliantly

Catherine is a brilliantly savvy woman in this milieu. What a great expose of the double standard government has carved out of our country's wealth for themselves. No one remembers that the finance industry supposedly had a fiduciary duty to their customers that was recognized by the courts in this country since 1830's - it is generally referred to as "The Prudent Man Rule" which was only reasonable and rational in view of the services the profession offers in return for fees. Had the laws of this country been enforced at the very time we most needed them to be and like we have never needed them to be before (just like NORAD was AWAL the day we needed it most), as we the people should be able to reasonably rely upon, all of those crooks who received bail outs would have received jail time instead for not performing their due diligence as required and further for intentional and reckless endangerment of their customer's money. Attempts to use government pressure as an excuse to make loans that would not pass tests of due diligence are no more acceptable than the SS soldiers blaming their superior officers at Nuremberg. Further, investors who have more than a million dollars at risk in many of these funds had to sign declarations at the time of making the investments that the loss of capital or the returns expected in these high risk investments would not have any negative effects on their lives. Not one of the bail out recipients either had it coming nor did they deserve it any under any circumstance.

Catherine Austin Fitts is

Catherine Austin Fitts is smart, intuitive, and educational, and a great listen as she lifts the veil on financial and government regulatory con games. I would love to hear her and Ellen Brown do a panel discussion.

Andrew Philip- don't keep

Andrew Philip- don't keep calling this community radio.

As a voting member my vote does not count. Pacific/ArleneEnglehard/Andre Philip came to our so called community own and run radio station to fire the host of the Morning Show without a say from our community.

Bring back the Morning show, then I'll begin donating again.

If you vote, your vote counts

If you vote, your vote counts "Al G." If you have issues related to programming decisions, I encourage you to support due process and transparency through KPFA's Local Station Board and the Program Council. (You'll find one faction on the LSB opposes a transparent Program Council with community involvement.)

Your charge of anyone being arbitrarily fired at KPFA is baseless. Staff lay-offs were undertaken according to seniority and other due processes when KPFA faced serious financial crises.

Very interesting and

Very interesting and suspense-filled show! Catherine Austin Fitts sure knows how to work her way through the economic spook factory we call our government! Very glad she survived and won against the "legal" system. Would like to hear the last few minutes which seemed to have been cut-off, as the show was a few minutes late getting started. Thanks for the show and the great questions, Bonnie.
