It'd have been nice if the program had had someone on who'd been praising communist socialist struggle - alongside the praise of Jesus, and of the standard marginalization of the raging people who broke in or graffitied or smashed and all.
Norma, when are they gonna interview you on LAP? Have you called them up? I'd like to hear that interview. I'd like to hear more (some? any?) socialist voices on LAP.
I liked the fact that Clarence Thomas included a critique of capitalism at the Occupy Oakland General Strike press conference, "Capitalism has failed us."
Although that statement may function to raise the consciousness of those born into capitalism with no alternatives ever entering their imaginations, for many others, we know capitalism hasn't failed us because it was never intended to do anything but concentrate wealth and power in few hands.
Thank you all KPFA listeners for making KPFA the best it can be through constant critique and self-reflection.
