"The New Junk Economics" with Michael Hudson. (One from the archives of 2010.) We discuss the Federal Reserve; money as debt; Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke's misconception of the causes of the great depression of the 1930's; classical political economy versus anti-classical, so-called "neoclassical", economics; the labor theory of value; the dollar carry trade; government deficit spending; Greece.

I also hope you get to listen to this Common Wealth Club talk. I couldn't believe it is almost, common knowledge to the folks in attendance. I've thought for a long time it was pretty conspiriatorial still, undergroundish. But it is way out of the 'bag' now and I believe more people need to know. I even think OWS should be sent a copy and they could start screaming about this too. Who needs a job if there is no planet left?
Great show as usual- i emailed it to over 100 people- this is the best show on kpfa! but--When are we going to start talking about the geo-engineering/weather modification programs on this program?- we need to address some of the causes of global climate change- listen to the commonwealth club forum podcast- Direct link here:

Hudson and Steve Keen are my favorite economists. They both favor debt cancellation.
The following will tell your friends what will happen if we do not have reform and debt cancellation very soon. A Hyperinflationary Depression that pushes unemployment from its current 23% to 30%. This is designed to transfer all wealth from us to the Uber Rich.

Michael Hudson is one of a very few economists out there who can explain in detail what is happening to the post industrial world. We will all be reduced to the level of North Korea and when we dare to say anything about this, the neoliberals call it class war---So what's been happening to the middle class since 1970?
