SSTF is wicked to its core. Let us hope enough Californians
wake up and oppose this dismantling of the college system which
has benefitted millions for all of these years.

Check out the Student Success Task Force - a group convened to overhaul California's Community Colleges, funded by the Lumina Foundation with ties to ALEC. The CCC Board of Governors recently approved the recommendations of the task force, which will have a significant impact on community colleges, and now the state Chancellor is trying to railroad the recommendations through the legislature. We need support to fight this. The corporate media portrays those of us who are opposed as self-serving, because no one outside of community colleges is paying attention to this. It will drive up fees, increase dependence on student loans and benefit private on-line institutions. All part of the ALEC agenda.
