the NGOs are not 'the left'. 'The left' that's hard to find and is evidently not looked for by this speaker is still here. Suppressed? surprise surprise!! Probably the left-est action going on IS Occupy - obviously a solid interim action/idea/ theory, etc.
You’ve not outdone yourself by tying a commentary of “political-Science” to economic-dioscussion. The Prof. may or may not have been “holding-back” but one fact is for true, neither he nor you advanced the tenets of need for kPFA programming. There is no program on “political-parties” yet kPFA holds back for past 22 yrars on palying recodrded demonstration-Speakers and recorded nGO’s leaders on anti-War! Shame.
Therefore there has been “no parity” because not only this, there is Socialist equality Party w two candidates Jerry White & Phyllis Scherrer; the Libertarian party w Ron Paul running on a single-Party (gOPS/dEMS) system of plutocracy-Inc; the Justice party w Rocky Anderson, who waited on a dEMS encounter w Dennis Kucinich that never-happened (vice-Versa) to run on Greens or coalition ticket; the communist Party which is hardly fielding a candidate; the other Socialist Party which has progressive dEMS such as Amy Goodman and Dave Zirin, on a Socialist Workers platform of allow dEMS progressives to lead but never field a candidate but has positions oft-times better on Libya, on Yugoslavia.
Find this on the peace-Warrior’s blogs @ http://www.nukiemole.org/odo-blog.html or liaison w these tenets!
