When I fill out forms, I avoided marking the race box. I make my own off box and label it off white, because I can not mark that I’m from somewhere else in the continuum where I very often would like to be.
A man who is told by the police (possibly suggests with a wink and a nod) that he back off, a man with an alleged record of aggressive behavior, and armed with a gun, follows a you black person and (I think with intent) kills (I think murders him), and is not arrested, It beyond the pale that he is not charged with a crime.. As for the police that failed to make an arrest, it is more than time for a complete investigation of that police department, and all others like.
The police who (deliberately?) a best shirked their responsibility as law enforcement, and at worst, encouraged this kind of activity, must be vigorously investigated and, if found guilty, prosecuted the fullest extent of the law.
Listen to people equivocate always disgust me: The truth is, it is open season on minorities most of the time in most of the U.S.. During inflation and today’s depression, Arabs and Hispanics are the scapegoats of choice; nonetheless, there is always time for the part of the infrastructure that is raciest to target African Americans.
