The role of Opportunity High School in the story has yet to be told. I am co-writing a book with Judy Bebelaar called AND THEN THEY WERE GONE: The Children of Peoples Temple - San Francisco to Jonestown. We deal with both those stories and then what happened in Jonestown. Coming soon. Both Judy and I were teachers at Opportunity High during the Jones time period. 125 of his teen-aged members including his 3 sons attended Opportunity High during the 1976-77 time frame.

She would be the most attractive candidate for many reasons, and would definitely get my vote. KPFA doesn't usually explore the real alternatives but are good critics of the same old
