Up Front - Norman Solomon

Can elections in this country produce progressive social change? Norman Solomon has just conceded his insurgent campaign for the congressional seat being vacated by Lynn Woolsey--where he seems to have lost the primary by less than 200 votes. He joins us in studio to reflect on the campaign, and lessons for people trying to make a difference at the ballot box. Plus: Marjorie Cohn previews Thursday's Supreme Court ruling on health care reform, and Sonali Kolhatkar interviews the makers of "The Invisible War" -- a documentary about rape in the military.
