McMurtry is naive; if he thinks that none of the preparation for 9/11 didn't happen during the Clinton Administration or that other forms of treachery weren't happening during Carter's and it all happened under Bush and Reagan then he is not only naive but delusional. It is impossible for any of this to occur without a bureaucracy that is fixed upon an end in mind. Look at Obama and Fast and Furious; come now F and F most likely started under Bush Jr, but has remain steadily under Obama through the bureaucracy. If this is understood then it becomes clear that the office of the president is an illusion and so too are elections. We would do far better as a nation if we could put the silly ideologies that drive each group aside and focus on the reality and facts.

The Lincoln quote referred to here is apocryphal. Very unfortunate, especially in a speech emphasizing the "inexplicable", and critical thinking.

Absolutely Brilliant! I'm certainly checking out his work.

This is a rebroadcast of the Guns and Butter episode from March 10, 2010 (this time without the interruptions concomitant with a pledge drive). Well worth hearing a second time!

Fantastic speech, Dr.

Fantastic speech, Dr. McMurtry's views on the large picture surrounding the 911 attacks was well worth revisiting. Just amazing.

This is the most brilliant

This is the most brilliant thinking yet in terms of an analysis of 9/11
