It is unforyunate that KPFA's website does not allow comments to be placed about a show currently playing or just ended. That is when the listeners are most likely to have a comment to make. The result is a dearth of comment; because comments are effectively not permitted in the timely manner that they would naturally occur.
One can send an email to the show host, as such email addresses are available, but such comments will not be placed in the listener comment area for public viewing.
My comment is regarding a segment of the Morning show that is currently on air Sept. 2, 2012.
Phillip interviewed a Canadian MD author Gabor Mate. I had the odd experience of realizing that Gabor was himself projecting his inner reality on the world and that reality was basically the same Hollywood matrix pseudo reality we are all brainwashed with in the US and Canada, continually reinforced by the media, when he asserted that he wasn't projecting his own inner reality on the world. He seems a kind and empathetic man, but perhaps deluded.
Can we escape the mind programming and miseducation we so effectively receive in the post WW II WEST?
Dr. Mate, although he clearly has so far failed, has at least tried to find a way to set his mind free. I think we need to find a way step outside the box of our programming, but to do that, we must be able to see the box. And then once outside, Dr. Mate would no longer be welcome as a guest on KPFA, almost certainly.
