California’s Legislature is in the final week of its lawmaking session, with everything from tax reform to pension reform to drivers’ licenses for undocumented immigrants on the table. As the state legislature barrels towards the end of its session, San Francisco Democratic Assemblymember Tom Ammiano joins us to diccuss two of his initiatives -- one to push back against the federal immigration crackdown, another to extend labor protections to domestic workers. Plus: A look at one of the most important issues that WON’T get discussed during the national party conventions: Sonali Kolhatkar talks with climate change writer and activist Bill McKibben.
