I have seen Barbara Lee as pretty much a Democratic party apologist ever since she was on KPFA she was on the KPFA live coverage of Kerry's acceptance speech in 04, where she had nothing but praise for the 'I am reporting for duty' speech. she answers the question about whether progressive principles are being adhered to by the Dems by instead simply pointing the finger at Romney. And then we need to all vote for Obama to send a message aabout how much we hate Romney. When, for crying out loud, are we allowed to send a message about how disappointed we are with Obama in relation to progeressive values?
Hi Thursten,
We interviewed Jill Stein at length during the Green Party convention, and we interviewed Marsha Feinland of the Peace and Freedom Party during its convention. We've also interviewed critics of electoral politics in general -- like Chris Hedges. No Rocky Anderson yet, but he was on Democracy Now! last week.
Again, no representation of the Progressive, Green, Socialist, Peace and Freedom Party, etc. are covered during the duopoly’s conventions.
No air time for Anderson, Stein or any other people’s candidate.
Coverage is clearly unfair and unbalanced, and overwhelming weighted towards the duopoly.
Albert Einstein - "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results." Under Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity, KPFA coverage of this election is insane. It will result in helping to continue the same looting of the US treasury, the same give away of schools to corporations, the same deportations, the same US Genocide and apartheid in the Middle East...
Zinn said that third movements force oligarchies to fall or to make laws that benefit the 99%.
The slates of other left party candidates are all worth attention and consideration.
Me, I’m voting my convictions; I voting for Jill Stein!
