Ruth Coniff(sp?), the political writer from The Progressive is clearly a Democrat cheerleader, as is, host John Hamilton. John Hamilton's faction at KPFA, alongside the likes of Brian Edwards-Tiekert, Aileen Alfandary, Sasha Lilley, C.S. Soong, et al., is funded by a faction of the Democrat Party (the Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club). So, it's not surprising to hear Democrat apoligism and facile Republican-bashing in the post-mortem commentary. Both the Democrat and Republican parties monopolise the electoral process and, thus, prevent free and fair elections.
