KPFA ended its fall fund drive early to bring its listeners more election coverage and tonight Democracy Now! will have a live broadcast from Hofstra University, the site of the second presidential debate. Expect to hear from Long Island residents who'll go way beyond the carefully vetted questions you'll find in the official "town hall" event. This expanded debate will begin at 5 pm with a community roundtable, at 6 pm the full uninterrupted debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney, and at 7:30 pm there will be a post-debate analysis. If you like KPFA's decision to cut its fund drive short to bring more election coverage and you have yet to show your support in the form of a pledge, please consider making a donation today at www.kpfa.org.
