Another angle is what's "sugar", and what isn't? Why is it that a product label can say "sugar free". Then, on the back it says 4g(8 packets) of sugar? I've asked people in various stores, and the answers range from it's an FDA loophole to I just work here.

Excellent Show. Regarding Prop 37 - Definitely YES YES YES. “Soylent Green” was a good analogy regarding the deception by the mega-corporations to push GMO on the planet. Another analogy would be “Damien Omen II” where one of the objectives was for the Devil to control the worlds food supply – really scary movie!
Not to defend Whole Foods, but to some extent GMO is ubiquitous in any product containing soy or corn sweeteners in the US. So, these are base ingredients that go into many other products. Retailers don't actually have a choice not to include some GMO products. Retailers can offer foods that are GMO free where it's possible.
