es, Bush's Hud sec, A Jackson, simply extended and deepened the agenda that the Clinton administration started. After the storm he infamously declared that 'st thomas would be the model' for the rest of the remaining developments (and compnaies he was connected to got a part of the action). In chapters 6 and 7 in into his role--and the fulsome support he received from local Democrats of this agenda. He was unsuccessful in demolishing the Iberville, which protests saved, BUT now Obama has now been 'successful' where his predecessor had not been (as in so many other areas.....)--plans are going forward--without much protest now to demolish Iberville.
