They’ve almost got a fiscal deal in Washington, and there's bad news for anyone who ever intends to retire: Barack Obama’s apparently willing to accept a cut to Social Security benefits. Dean Baker joins us to discuss the deal, and what the cut would mean. Plus: Scott Klinger on the roots of the extremely well-funded “Fix The Debt” campaign.

Excellent show this AM. Not that they all aren't but today was outstanding! That young person from Oakland was the real stuff. If only we as adults would listen closer to young people like her.
