Re: Zero Dark Thirty: I think that it is not necessary to see or review this film. What is needed is for people to become motivated to see the type of movies that they really want to see (my street survey suggests that in a perfect world of perfect information about violence content of movies 75% of people would watch nonviolent movies). As things stand now, we have nothing resembling a mandate for change re: reduced demand for war and/or gun control. But if 75% of people watched nonviolent movies we would have just such a mandate. To find out what movies are playing in theaters or on DVD that are relatively nonviolent, go to www.peacemovies.com or do a google search for nonviolent movie reviews to find other web sites that also review violence content of movies..
