UpFront - Afghanistan; Barbara Lee; California's bid to control ammunition

How many troops does it take to make a “withdrawal” an actual withdrawal? The Obama Administration says it wants to leave as few as 3,000 troops in Afghanistan after 2014. Obama’s top general in the country says he’d like to keep as many as 20,000 -- we’ll discuss the prospects for real peace with activist Kathy Kelly, and then US Representative Barbara Lee. Plus: State Senator Nancy Skinner rolls out a new ammunition control bill, and Oakland and San Francisco face major shifts in city politics as they swear in new officials--we'll sort through the changes with East Bay Express Editor Robert Gammon, and San Francisco Bay Guardian editor Time Redmond.
