If slaves had had guns, they would have not been slaves.
I'd like to get a count - even a broad estimate, of the number of situations where owning a gun actually enabled warding off the murders we've seen frequently the past 25 years in common society. I'd like to know a situation where even had all the good people had guns at their sides, they could have stopped a 15second murder of 8 people ... Seriously, I'd like to see the figures of the occasions....
