Growth, while seemingly necessary throughout the regions of massive deprivations, erstwhile colonized areas, areas ruled dictatorially, invaded/bombed areas, impoverished areas in capitalistically controlled South-ish, etc., is not the concept we need. While reparations definitely are necessary, growth is obnoxious, destructive, misleading, serves profit. 'Growth' is the term that serves capitalism, customary to teaching 'economics', and to forming production , which is social, political, economic, the wholly trinity, ...production policy.
