Obama says the sequestrian bill is a meat cleaver approach that would cut out good programs like education and security. He is right about education, but is totally wrong about security. Security means more surveillance, indefinite detentions, war, etc. The only way to have security in the US is to get our military out of wars, dismantle the 800 more military/covert ops bases across the world, stop exploiting poor resource rich regions overtly and covertly, stop propping up right wing dictators that keep wages in misery level, kill dissidents, and so on. Then we will have no fear of terrorism. If we would have done these things prior to 911 there would have been no 911.
