Danny's summery of the privatization and attack of public education is so powerful, I had to pull my car over to listen. I work for a community college. I work on an accreditation committee. We are utterly at their mercy and everyone is afraid. I sensed the takeover several years ago and now after working on the committee, I'm convinced the state, the Accreditation authorities, and the private enterprises are all working in unison for the demise of public education.
