Terra Verde

Many of us have heard of the decline of bee populations, which play a crucial role in our food supply chain as pollinators. The situation is very disturbing, but today on Terra Verde, we try not to dwell so much on the somber side of the story. Instead, we'll delve into the positive and proactive efforts of bee stewards—people who know about, care about, and care for bees. Our three guests are busy working on projects that promote the vitality of various kinds of bees. Listen in as hosts Laura Garzon Chica and Jason Mark talk to Bill Tomaszewski of Marin Bee Company, Gretchen LeBuhn of The Great Sunflower Project, and Dave Hunter of Crown Bees and the Pollinator Support Movement.

I was surprised no mention

I was surprised no mention was made of NOT putting down h mulch on every square foot of a yard as wild bees need to n8fr2bwdig nests into the ground and won't do it with a mulch barrier
