Women's Magazine: The Body Feminist

We talk with feminist scholar Cynthia Enloe (Beaches, Bananas and Bases, Does Khaki Become You: Militarization in Women's Lives) about what we should being learning from the scandal about sexual assault in the military.  Then we listen to a talk by Rabab Abdulhadi, professor of Ethnic Studies/Race and Resistance Studies at San Francisco State, on Colonial and Post-Colonial Definitions of Arab Womanhood.  TJ Basa, Program Manager of Kearny Street Workshop, the country's oldest Asian Pacific American arts organization, tells us about "Celebrate Your Body" a fashion show that challenges the norms of the fashion industry.
