i think that what helped to

i think that what helped to fragment the occupy movement in oakland and san jose was that many working and middle class sympathizers and activists were turned off by the increasing number of addicted, homeless and mentally ill people that were gathering to take advantage of food and excitement. that along with the police response turned off a lot of people like me. i know there are thousands of homeless mostly men in both cities and that they need services (my son among them) but it did not help to organize the occupy movement in my opinion.
