It is my opinion that scientists have presented global warming in a poor manner. The physics of CO2 is that is transparent to visible light but somewhat opaque to infra red (heat). The result is that a square meter of earth has a gain from .5-1.5 watt daily. That's a net increase of 250-750 trillion watts worldwide daily. So we have a closed system that is gaining heat. All the other science is looking for the evidence of this heat gain. If you ask the average person what would happen to a car engine that gained heat constantly. They know that it would eventually malfunction, but could not predict exactly how. Radiator, head gasket, rod ,valve, rings, crank or any number of other problems. Presented in this manner the variations and interpretation of weather would be irrelevant to the discussion.
