May I suggest that Americans need to do a little more homework.
You should have no doubt about what is going on in Egypt, meaning that this was a defensive counter-coup by the Egyptian Military against the Muslim Brotherhood. Morsi wanted to involve Egypt in two wars, one in Syria against Assad and one in Ethiopia to stop a dam project. Morsi invited in the IMF and implemented extreme austerity measures against the Egyptian People. This destroyed his ability to govern. If anyone thinks that somehow this is the United States doing this – you really missed the point. PressTV is reporting that the US wants to send Robert Ford as the new US Ambassador to Egypt. This is Mr. Death Squad! So, chaos and death follows this guy.

So, this defensive counter-coup is what is best for Egypt, the Middle East and Africa! Let me say this another way. This takes the Egyptian Military off the table for use by Western Imperialism.

The audio from the Syrian spokesman was so garbled that I could only understand a few words, which was enough for me to know that what he had to say would've greatly clarified our understanding in the U.S. of what the dynamics are, what role the U.S. gov't is playing, how we are being deceived ... again. But because the audio was so poor, l'm afraid listeners will not have any more insight about what is really happening in Syria. Whole show has bad audio today. What's up??
