Can't stay silent; the news report mentions an event in Florida, which is described as "a woman firing a warning shot into the wall after her husband threatened to kill her". First off, it is onlt contended that it was a "warning shot", it may have been a miss. Secondly, the person in question left the house, went to her car, retrieved a gun, went back into the house, and held her husband at gunpoint. In no way shape or form is that stand your ground. Mnd you, I think 20 years is harsh, but kpfa shouldn't present slanted news.
