A lengthier episode covering the music and the radio of the mid 60’s. Beginning with a ‘66 broadcast of Scott Muni on WOR, N.Y, the music then extends from pop to fine art stuff from John Cage and the 60’s performance art group, Fluxus. N.Y. radio’s Gene Shephard returns with a story about trains accompanied by train songs, and we’re talking country with Cash, Cline, Everly Brothers, and Jack Scott, and UFO’s return in the 60’s with increasing frequency.
5 Hours.
