Letters and Politics - Angolan Civil War

From the 1960s through the 1980s, African guerrilla fighters, Cuba, the United States and South Africa were involved in a war over apartheid across the African continent centered in Angola's civil war. Today we're in conversation about it with historian Piero Gleijeses, author of the book Visions of Freedom: Havana, Washington, Pretoria, and the Struggle for Southern Africa.
