KPFA CAB Meeting Notes 5/9/09   Attending: Beth, Nancy, Rose Community members: Sally, Virginia   Not an official meeting, informal discussion with community members Questions from the community members:   What groups are you involved with (to Nancy)? Education not incarceration, national coalition (dignity in schools), singer as well so has interests in cultural stuff   What do you feel the function of the cab is? Advising the LSB on programming, opinions on significant policy decisions, community needs assessment   What has been done so far? We have met, discussed the role of the cab, divided programming to listen to and report back on   Do you have ideas about how the content is being broadcast? Yes but we can't really discuss it without the members present.   Sally suggests surveying the community groups we are trying to reach out to for input.
