California Prisoners resume their hunger and work strike beginning on Monday July 8^th unless the state meets their demands.  In the lead up to the hunger strike join host Margaret Prescod for a Pacifica Radio one hour special on mass incarceration, solitary confinement and prisoner resistance.  Guests include Soffiyah Elijah; Teresa Shoatz daughter of political prisoner Russell “Maroon Shoatz”; Dolores Canales whose son is in solitary confinement; former prisoner Danny Murillo and Isaac Ontiveros with the prisoner Hunger Strike Solidarity Support Network.
