The Week Starts Here ---- Ricki Stevenson, Founder, CEO and Lead Guide of Black Paris Tours

Producer/Host Veronica Faisant begins 2014 in conversation with guest Stacey Hoffman, founder of Living  Stacey reveals the educational mission of Living Jazz, and, In The Name of Love, the organization's 12th annual musical tribute Honoring Dr Martin Luther King Jr.  This year, the fundraiser takes place at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland, January 19th at 7pm.

In segment 2, Ricki Stevenson, Founder, CEO and Lead Guide of Ricki Stevenson's Black Paris Tours, describes her epiphany and subsequent decision to relocate to Paris, France.   In 1998, Ricki began a tour business in Paris in which she educates visitors on the history of the African diaspora in France.  After 16 years living near Paris, Ricki affirms her personal experiences living as an ex-patriot and discusses some not so obvious differences between Paris and Oakland.
