Healdsburg Jazz Festival celebrates its 15th Anniversary with a two day tribute to Charlie Haden, an exclusive engagement of the Charles Lloyd-Jason Moran Duo, Sweet Honey In The Rock and the premier of the HJF Freedom Jazz Choir

The festival is a cascade of major-league jazz talent starting on the first weekend with a two-day tribute to bass-playing legend Charlie Haden that will include Carla Bley, Bill Frisell, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Lee Konitz, Ravi Coltrane, Geri Allen, Chris Potter and more. The festival finale will feature Sweet Honey In The Rock with high energy saxophonist Azar Lawrence and his group. Also featured during the festival is renowned pianist Fred Hersch and his trio, Marcus Shelby 17 piece orchestra with a 100-plus strong newly created HJF Freedom Jazz Choir, John Heard Quartet, Guitarist Will Benard, drummer Syliva Cuenca Trio, Roger Glenn and his Latin Jazz Ensemble, Frisco Jazz Band, New Horizon Stompers, Carlitos Medrano & Sabor De Mi Cuba, Carlos Henrique Pereira, the Terry Henry Trio, a workshop by Liberation Music Orchestra drummer Matt Wilson and Mad and Eddie Duran. Venues include the Jackson Theater, Raven Theater, Kendall-Jackson Tasting Lounge, Healdsburg Plaza, Dry Creek Kitchen, Hotel Healdsburg, Rodney Strong Vineyards, Spoonbar, Healdsburg Shed and Costeaux Bakery and Cafe.
