HABITOT CHILDREN'S MUSEUM SWEET 16 BIRTHDAY PARTY

BAY AREA EARTH DAY

Over the years Earth Day has become more about green consumerism than changing the world, but this year you have a chance to put the politics back in Earth Day by joining thousands for a march at 11am starting at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco and ending at Civic Center where there will a huge rally starting at 1pm. There will be many contingents in the march including families, workers, etc. At Civic Center there will be tons of activities, live music, food, & speakers including the nation's leading environmentalist, 350.org founder & president Bill McKibben & many more! Volunteers are also needed for the event, plus you will receive special Earth Day perks!

EARTH DAY ON THE BAY 2014

On Saturday, April 19 from 10am to 5:00pm, the Marine Science Institute is honoring Planet Earth with "Earth Day on the Bay". This all day family friendly celebration includes shark feeding, live entertainment, ocean critter art projects, a youth art and poetry gallery and much more.
