Indigenous Sacred Prayer by Xochipilli;
Dezorah Smith; Destiney Knuckles; Oakland Interfaith Youth Gospel Chorus; Oakland School for the Arts Chorus; Winnie Wong and China's Spirit Music Ensemble (CSME); Michael Brown, Poet; Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno and Jesus Ibn El; and many more.
The focus of this event is on equity in education and making the dream real for a quality education for all children. We believe that every child should be safe, loved, educated and valued.
A portion of all funds raised will go to underwrite the ArtEsteem Mural Project that engages McClymonds High School students in the beautification of the 580-freeway underpass in West Oakland.
