In 2011, she traveled on a women of color delegation to Palestine, which later issued a call for divestment from Israel. In 2012 she particpated in the Russell Tribunal on Palestine in New York City. Now she is celebrating the release of her new book, The Meaning of Freedom and Other Difficult Dialogues. Angela will sign books after the event.
