SF MEDIA TRAINING FOR TEENS

FILM: TINAJA TRAIL

On Tuesday, September 9th at 6pm, the Tiburon Film Society presents "The Tinaja Trail", a film directed by Bryce Newell about the desolate boarderlands of the American southwest and the undocumented immigrants who risk their life to cross into the United States. 'WHAT RIVER ARE YOU MADE OF' ART SHOW

On Thursday, September 11th, from 6pm to 8pm, the 'What River Are You Made of? Tolumne Inside Out' art show will open with live music, food and drinks. This exhibit seeks to raise awareness about the Tolumne River, which provides water and electricity to the San Francisco and beyond. This event takes place at 101 Post Street in San Francisco. CRUDE OIL TRAINS

On Thursday, September 11th, at 7pm, Citizens Against Hazardous Oil Trains, along with other environmental groups, will present a town meeting where guest speakers will discuss the potential hazards that oil trains present to Bay Area Communities.
