GRAND LAKE THEATER

On Thursday, August 7th from 7 to 10pm, the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland will present “If These Halls Could Talk,” a documentary about racism on our campuses as seen by eleven college students from campuses across the nation.

MULTI ETHNIC THEATER

Beginning August 7th and running through August 31st, the Multi Ethnic Theater will present August Wilson's “Jitney,” a play which concerns a group of working class men who offer gypsy cab rides to and from African-American communities where city cabs refuse to go.
