On Friday, August 16th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, UNITED HERE! Local 483 is holding a boycott and rally asking that former workers of La Playa Carmel get their jobs back. Since its re-opening, the hotel has only re-hired 3 of 113 workers, over half of whom had worked there for over 20 years.
