On Sunday, February 5th at 4pm, a free Sand Casting Demonstration will take place at Crown Nine, 461 Ninth St. in Oakland. Sand casting is an ancient metalworking technique that uses sand to create a mold that molten metal is poured into, creating a replica. Bring safety glasses and trinkets to cast. $10 donations accepted.
