AUTHORS FOR LITERACY

On Saturday, September 21, from 10am to 4pm, outstanding authors from the Bay Area and beyond will read from their works and talk about themselves at the Authors for Literacy event being held at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center, 725 Mt. Diablo Avenue, San Mateo.

Authors scheduled include:Dr. Joy De Gruy, State Senator Jerry Hill, Agatha Hoff, Mark Little, Belva Davis, Jessie Jones, Rev. Larry Ellis, Lian Gow and Joanneh Nagler.

Proceeds from this Authors for Literacy event will benefit the MLK Essay and Poetry Contest.

WILD SCIENCE – REPTILE FILES

DHARMA COLLEGE OPEN HOUSE

Spirit & Soul Festival and Fundraiser

The Annual Spirit & Soul Festival and Fundraiser returns to downtown Richmond on Saturday, September 21st from 1pm-5pm. Admission is free, with artisan crafts, food, wine, and beverages for sale. Proceeds support the revitalization of historic downtown Richmond. This event will feature handmade jewelry, home goods accessories, clothing and more crafted by local artisans and entrepreneurs. FEMALE VOCALIST EXTRAVAGANZA
