Rickey uses a deep in your earhole audio-alchemy when The History of Funk airs every Friday. He goes beyond the run of mill tried and true old familar. It's a never ending journey of music that gets the polyrhythm message of funk to the marrow to your bones to implode the synapses. More than just getting high, but becoming elevated on a feelin' good subculture that mankind just starting to understand. But a certain segment of humanity that has already lived through mainly through the '60s, '70s and '80s by rockin' many a dancefloor everywhere.

Hey Sir, how are you, I wanted to remind you that the, "Hey Leroy", was use in one of the Beasty Boys records. Also, it was very funny when you said, "Hip Hop just went and confiscated the atomic dog", I died laughing. I love your show.
