KPFA’s Spring Fund Drive starts April 30th!

 

 

Fund drives are KPFA’s most important on-air fund raising effort. Volunteers help the station by answering phones and taking pledges. Show your support for free-speech community broadcasting and all the quality programming it offers! We'd really appreciate your help. No experience necessary!

 

The hours of the April pledge drive shifts are:

 

Monday – Friday                               Saturday                          Sunday

Morning: 6 AM – 11 AM                   7 AM –11 AM                    7 AM –11 AM

Afternoon: 11 AM – 3 PM                 11 AM – 3 PM                   11 AM – 3 PM

Evening: 3 PM – 7 PM                      3 PM – 6 PM                     3 PM – 6 PM

Night: 7 PM –10 PM 

 

If you are not available for the full-designated shift, you can still commit to spending part of the time helping us out in the telephone room.

 

KPFA studios are located at:

1929 Martin Luther King Jr. Way

Berkeley, CA 94704 --- just a short walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART and several AC Transit bus lines.

 

Local, community non-profit groups can participate!

KPFA welcomes local, community non-profit groups to help out in the phone room. Organizations participating as a group receive an on-air thank you. Please email fdvcoordinator@kpfa.org in advance to schedule a shift for our upcoming fund drive.

Food and beverages are available during pledge drive for phone room volunteers.
