Members of the Berkeley High School Orchestra play live on Sing Out to preview Sunday's Freight and Salvage benefit concert featuring more than a dozen small groupings playing everything from Bach to Gershwin (raising money for the orchestra's invitational performance at Los Angeles' Disney Hall). The trio is Claire Engan (oboe), Simone Thiry (bassoon) and Thomas Hall (trumpet), playing an excerpt from a Bach (organ) Trio in E minor. Fourteen-year-old freshman violinist Hilda Li plays an excerpt from the Wieniawski violin concerto.
