San Francisco-based Goldman Foundation gives a $125,000 environmental award
to a well-known violator of human rights in Haiti, and an update on how the
US violated its own 13-year old arms embargo to provide new weapons to the
death squads of the Haitian National Police; plus, an American aid worker
killed in a car bomb attack, we’ll talk about the work of Marla Ruzicka and
go to Baghdad for a report on the deteriorating situation there; also, more
violence sweeps through Darfur in Sudan; and the Knight Report.
