A retrospective of the work covering three decades of Mumia Abu-Jamal, legendary political prisoner, Black Panther and revolutionary journalist. This weekend marks 25 years of his imprisonment. We’ll broadcast selections of Mumia interviewing Bob Marley, Hugh Masekela, Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis; also, Mumia in his own words speaking on the Block Report with JR and Chairman Fred Hampton Jr., on the state-sponsored murder of Stanley Tookie Williams and the ongoing struggle of the Black community; an update on his case with Pam Africa; and Flashpoints en Espanol speaks with John Ross on the people’s resistance movements in Mexico.
