Love. It’s probably the most written about emotion. All languages. All cultures. It probably has a many descriptions as there are people who claim they "love". Sweet, sad, wild, tainted: love. There is a perception that there is a "normal" love but I don’t think so. What most may think as "normal" or "traditional" love I feel is more associated with the imagination of writers and artist and fundamental mores. But maybe a better description would be "queer" love and relationships. Queer as in odd. Queer as in somewhat unpredictable, a type of love that from a simple observation seems queer but in queereality is experienced and explored by many.
